Summer Reading

Here we are at mid-point of summer, unless you live in Florida like I do, where summer stretches until November, but I digress.

Sitting by the pool, flying in an airplane, or just retreating to your air conditioned home, reading is part of the season.

I have some books to recommend. Ark Trek is written by my brother, Arthur Manning. The story follows a family as they prepare to visit the Noah’s ark exhibit in America’s heartland. The children dream about some of the animals and their journey to the ark. We see how animals deal with questions and difficulties. They can teach us a lot. This beautifully illustrated book is geared for children 4 to 10. Click here to order.

Next is a lovely mystery by Roxanne T. Chin, a writing buddy of mine.

To Tell the Truth is a fun read. Fans of gripping and twisty plots, complex characters, and surprises at every turn will devour this book involving a murder of mistaken identity. I loved it. You can click here to order it from Amazon.

Of course if you haven’t yet read my latest book, Down and Out and Ready for a Miracle, you can click here to order it. It’s funny and heartwarming.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great summer, even if you’re not a big reader.
